Did I mention that Rob and I took a trip to Arizona recently?
We ventured all the way out to the desert to visit these guys - our friends Ashley and Eric. They welcomed us into their home, let us play with their dog, and brought us to all their favorite spots around Phoenix. You guys are the best! <3 What would you do if you found out that your dad built a giant castle in the middle of the desert and left it to you? Visit Mystery Castle in Phoenix to find out!
Or just read about it here. But for real, go to Phoenix, drive to the edge of the city, and join the tour at Mystery Castle. The origin story of the house is fascinating, and it was one of the most visually exciting places I've ever been. So many cat things. So. Many. Or just enough? Check out the pictures and decide for yourself! I do not belong in the desert. The heat, the sun, the scorpions...I just can't. There are 3 things that I DID want to see in the desert though - our friends and their dog that live there. So Rob and I flew to Phoenix for a little visit, and you know what? Arizona is beautiful.
Here are some pictures from one of our Arizona adventures to the Desert Botanical Garden. If you're ever in town, stop by in the evening for cooler temps, beautiful lighting displays, and active desert wildlife! I am officially obsessed with cacti now. |
